Utilitas Wind’s Saare-Liivi offshore wind farm: Basic Design
Arenso carried out Basic Design for the Saare-Liivi offshore wind farm of Utilitas Wind, a leading Estonia-based renewable energy developer and producer.
The purpose of Arenso’s and Utilitas Wind’s co-operation is to prepare a Basic Design package for future design phases, permitting tasks, planning of construction work and operation.
Approximately 80 wind turbines are planned to be erected in the first stage of the development. The total capacity will be 1,200 megawatts and the expected annual electricity production will exceed five terawatt hours.
Arenso provides Basic Design for Utilitas Wind’s Saare-Liivi offshore wind farm
Metsähallitus’ Ebba offshore wind project: technical planning of the EIA programme phase
Metsähallitus selected Arenso Oy to carry out the technical planning of the environmental impact assessment (EIA) programme phase of the Ebba offshore wind project. The project area is located in the Bay of Bothnia in Finland.
Arenso is responsible for the early-stage technical design work that supports the EIA process and enables a more detailed assessment of turbine placement and marine infrastructure. The planned offshore wind farm has an estimated capacity of 1,400 MW.
