Managing the entire life cycle of wind energy

Arenso’s wind energy experts have been designing and building offshore wind energy for over twenty years. Our services cover the entire life cycle of wind farms: from pre-studies to design and construction as well as the optimisation, operating and maintenance and eventually the dismantling and recycling of wind farms.

Pioneering arctic wind energy

Our experts have designed and constructed the world’s first offshore wind farm in frozen sea conditions in Tahkoluoto on the west coast of Finland. We have also set the standard in wind farm recycling by piloting the recycling of wind turbine blades in Finland.

Sustainable energy

Sustainable energy production is the guiding principle in our renewable energy projects. We take a stand on creating a sustainable future and actively contribute to strengthening the understanding of the environmental impact of wind energy.

Innovative technologies

We are fully versed in the latest technological developments and apply them, e.g., in environmental impact monitoring and wind farm construction and optimisation. Our team has contributed to the advancement of wind energy technology, e.g., in offshore wind turbine foundation concepts and radar technologies for monitoring the birdlife around wind turbines.

Our end-to-end wind energy services cover, e.g.:

  • Pre-studies and project development
  • Environmental impacts
  • Technology development
  • Geotechnical engineering
  • Ice and wave design basis
  • Wind turbine foundations
  • Investment preparation and contract management
  • Construction projects
  • Production optimization, forecasting and adjustment
  • Contingency planning
  • Wind farm monitoring
